Term Time at Playcare
In the morning children are given a breakfast if required (cereal/toast etc.)
And take part in activities before the younger children are escorted to their classroom by scheme staff, and older children go into the playground to line up with their class.
In the afternoon younger children are collected from their classrooms and given a snack in the community room.
They then have a range of supervised activities such as playing in the playground, arts and crafts activities, quiet reading, modelling etc. We take account of the fact that younger children are often tired at the end of the day and offer quiet activities as well as more physical ones. We are able to cater for children with special needs and will happily discuss this with you. In the holidays we have a range of activities including trips out.

Older children meet scheme staff in the playground and are escorted to the community centre on Heathfield Road where their evening follows similar routines.
The scheme has now been open over 25 years and we offer places to children throughout the school. Please let us know if your child has any specific needs so that we can work with you to make their time with us a success.
